Presto Pasta Night Roundup #204

No surprises here... Sarah of Maison Cupcake did a wonderful job as this week's Presto Pasta Night host. Presto Pasta Nights #204 starts our fifth year off in true PPN fashion... spectacularly, as usual. Thanks all, for keeping this going strong. The entries are all awesome.

Next week, Debbi Does Dinner is stepping up to the proverbial plate (no pun intended) to host PPN #205. Presto Pasta 4th Birthday Bash was Awesome!

It's been a blast and I really want to thank all 25 awesome bloggers for sharing their amazing pasta dishes with us this week. Presto Pasta Night #203 and birthday bash #4 was wonderful. So thank you all for coming to the party. Some of you had really long journeys - Australia and India seemed furthest from Halifax, Nova Scotia and Hawaii probably just as far from here. Others were closer to home, but still... isn't it amazing that we could all show up without needing to stand in airport lines or shell out big bucks for the tickets? And... a virtual party means virtually no cleaning up afterwards.

I thought it appropriate to have a few presents to share with some lucky guests. And since all the dishes are fantastic, the only way I could really "choose" was to close my eyes and randomly pick.

Garofalo Pasta was most generous. I've been a fan for a long time and get truly excited when I find some on the shelves here in Halifax. They're sending a case of their heavenly pasta!

What you might possibly find inside...
Penne and some Radiatori

Drum roll please..... Joanne of Eats Well With Others, in NYC. Enjoy and don't forget to share some with the rest of us at PPN roundups.

The wonderful people at Formac-Lorimer Publishing provided a delightful Pasta Cookbook with recipes from the Canadian East Coast - Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick inn and restaurant chefs share their awesome pastas. Just one more reason to visit us.
And the lucky recipient is... Johanna of Green Gourmet Giraffe in Melbourne, Australia. I hope it takes your mind off all those horrific natural disasters I've been reading/watching about on the news.

Last, but definitely not least... another awesome publisher DK Publishing, Canada (lots of their books sit on my shelves) provided a fantastic book...Knife Skills in The Kitchen.

This one goes out to Kirsten of From Kirsten's Kitchen to Yours. California... and a new kitchen to test your skills in.
and The Cooks Book (which sits on my book shelf too and I love it) goes to... Tina of Life in the Slow Lane at Squirrel Head Manor.

A HUGE thank you to the terrific sponsors for sharing some great presents and another HUGE thanks to everyone for making Presto Pasta Nights one of the longest running, continuous weekly food blogging events out there. I hope to be around for another 4 years!

Next week, Sarah of Maison Cupcake will be hosting the first of year 5. Send your entries to sarah (at) maisoncupcake (dot) com and cc ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com by Thursday, March 10
