Mark Bittman Takes the Fear out of Homemade Pasta

It goes without saying that I love Mark Bittman. And Wednesday wouldn't b e Wednesday without reading his NY Times column. This week, he shows us all how to make homemade pasta... and how to do it easily, quickly and without fear.

It's all about using a food processor, letting it rest for half an hour or so (just enough time to clean up and get some sauce ready) before using that good old fashioned, been-around-forever tool.... a rolling pin. But watch his tutorial video to see just how simple it is.

His Fazzoletti sounds magical, but is really just simple squares of pasta - nothing fancy, and served with either a simple drizzle of olive oil & some garlic or with his Rustic Pesto.

2011 Begins With Great Pasta
