Gourmet Magazine - at least on line - has lots of Pasta


While Gourmet Magazine is no more,

Gourmet.com is alive and well and has tons of great pasta dishes from all the old magazines.

How about some Pasta alla Sofia - Loren, that is. A glorious Pesto-like Sauce with Anchovies.

This homemade Ravioli with Goat Cheese & Arugula has the most gorgeous photo that has me drooling and it's only breakfast time.

Now I know exactly what to do with the broccoli rabe in my fridge...Gemelli with Broccoli Rabe and Anchovies.

Or what about this Spaghetti with Spicy Tomato & Olive Sauce?

Two for One - Delicious Under & Across the Pond Pasta Perfection


I love Delicious Magazines...and I love getting both copies at the same time.

Delicious - Australia sees my seasons upside down and usually give me hope of what's to come.

Delicious Magazine, UK helps me with the current season and, given that I'm in the same hemisphere anyway, in finding tasty recipes with ingredients I can find locally. Not to mention that the recipes are more in line with how I'm feeling at the moment. Winter = comfort food; Spring = wonderful green to forget all those grey, cold and dreary days; Summer = too hot to cook; Autumn = craving soups and stews.

Without further ado...Delicious Australia + Pasta = wonderful. I'm particularly drawn to this Asparagus, Marinated Tomato and Pasta Salad.

Delicious UK + Pasta = droolingly...well ....delicious! I'm wanting the Spicy Crab, Chili & Lemon Pasta, but the choices are all wonderful.

Food & Drink + Pasta = Delicious

One great reason to live in Ontario - and one of the things I miss the most, is visiting your local LCBO (all wines and spirits in Ontario are sold through them with outlets around the province) and picking up a free copy of Food & Drink Magazine which showcases wines and spirits, but for me...it's mostly about the food. Glorious photos accompany the most delicious dishes ever and I thought I'd share some of my favorite pasta dishes from their website....because some of us, live away and can't get a print version.

Given that Spring is just around the corner (it's still cold, damp and dreary here in Nova Scotia) how about a tasty Fresh Herb Chili & Lemon Spaghetti?

I love the Red Pepper Pesto - which you see here on bread, but tastes fantastic as a pasta sauce.

Linguine with Clams, anyone?

With Spring upon us, it's almost time to find ramps - which are wild leeks and this recipe for Pasta with Wild Leek Pesto sounds awesome!

Presto Pasta Night Turns Three - Join the Party

It is truly hard to believe that I started Presto Pasta Nights three years ago. I never expected it to last. I hoped I wouldn't look like an idiot and be the only one sending in a pasta dish.

A HUMONGOUS and heart-felt thanks to all of you who've played along with me over the years and sent in tons of absolutely fantastic pasta dishes. And a HUGE thanks to all the wonderful guest hosts who've helped out along the way.

So bring your party best...or your most comforting (pyjamas & slippers, in front of the TV)... something new and exciting...or... your all time favorite noodle dish and be part of the fun.
