Another of my favorite foodie magazines is Donna Hay Magazine. It's been high on my list since...well, forever. I love the photos. You could really lick the page. I mean check out those ice cream cones.
It is always weird though, looking at the "seasons" upside down. It's now summer in Australia and we had a "snow day", which means tons of snow, schools and loads of businesses closed for the day. Then again, it's always nice to dream about what we'll get to eat when the weather heats up and the crops grow locally.
I thought I'd share some of her pasta dishes that look awesome...
Prawn, Chilli & Coriander Pasta (translated for the North Americans...that's shrimp, chili & cilantro) . However you say it, it's bound to be delicious.
Prosciutto & Pea Pasta (afterall, Spring is supposedly just around the corner)
Roast Sweet Potato, Garlic & Chicken (for those of us stuck with more Winter)
There are Four pages of other choices... which one is your favorite?
Oh...and one that I've made time and time again... Farfalle with Chorizo, Chickpeas & Spinach
I do hope you're planning on sharing with Presto Pasta Nights. This week, Mrs Ergul is hosting so share your passion for pasta with her. Just mention Presto Pasta Nights, Mrs Ergul Passion for Life and Food (with links of course) and send it in to limpeilin (at) gmail (dot) com and cc me ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com .

It definitely must be weird seeing the seasons in reverse. All you need to do is hoard her magazines for a year and then go in reverse order for whatever month we're in!
This past dish looks delicious! I love chickpeas and sausage together...so hearty.
I do keep her magazines and do exactly as you suggest. Thanks for dropping by.
I am a huge fan of Donna Hay's also, and being in New Zealand I am lucky enough to be in the same season. If you love her magazines you will love her new book "Season", which is basically the best of her magazines. I have just posted about the book and one of the recipes.
I'm also really excited to have discovered your Presto Pasta Night group. I am a big pasta lover (one of my most favourite food groups!!) so hope to join in soon - have a bit much on my plate for the next couple of weeks, but hopefully then I'll be in.
thanks for dropping by and turning me on to DH's latest book. I can't wait to find it here in Canada.
I'm looking forward to having you join in PPN fun...whenever you get the time.
