Presto Pasta Night Roundup #102

Theresa of Food Hunter's Guide to Cuisine did a wonderful job this week of hosting Presto Pasta Nights. As usual, I have the dilemma of which gorgeous dish to try first. It will be a challenge since they all look awesome. Check it out.

Hard as it is to believe, that last June (2008), Kevin of Closet Cooking was our first guest host. In the spring, I asked for volunteers to host Presto Pasta Nights, hoping that at least a couple of people would want to host. The response was overwhelming. There are still some names on the list, and I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you. It seems that some emails no longer work, some people have fallen off the blogging train and others are just too busy.

So if you'd like to host (March is all taken care of) from April onward, please email me and I'll put together a new updated list. Here are some guidelines, but the bottom line is that it's a fun way to meet new bloggers and connect with some who've been around for a while.

How to Join Presto Pasta Night Fun

We've been doing this for so long, I forgot that some people are just joining in the Presto Pasta Night fun. So here are some simple rules for submitting your fantastic pasta dishes:

1) The dish must have some sort of noodle, it doesn't have to be traditional Italian type pasta, it can be hot, cold, salad, soup, main, dessert, or anything else, but it must have some kind of noodle;

2) You must mention Presto Pasta Nights and link to it and since 3 of 4 weeks per month, there are guest hosts, you need to mention and link to them too. This is where you find out who's doing the hosting for the week you want to enter.

3) Email your entry to the host and a cc to me with the link to your post no later than Thursday evening so the host can have the roundup ready on Friday.

4) As for photos: - it's best to attach a jpeg of your dish in your email. Although I usually just copy the one on your post. If you wish to use a PPN logo, just copy it from the top of this post.

There are several food blogging events that require you to only submit your post to them. We think it's fun to submit to as many as you want to broaden the readership.

Wiffy of Noob Cook did a really beautiful presentation of this week's awesome roundup...and so quickly too! Hats off to great host and to all those delicious dishes. I can't wait to dig in! I just can't figure out which to choose first.

PPN #99 and one week to the big 100!

It's hard to believe that Presto Pasta Nights is still around and about to celebrate 100 roundups!

First - a very big thank you to contributors for sharing your favorite pasta creations.

Second - thanks to everyone for coming back week after week and spreading the word about PPN.

Third - thank you, thank you to all the fantastic hosts who've taken on the responsibility for getting the roundups done on top of everything else you do...a special thanks to Liam and Erin for sending it out between contractions!
