How to Join Presto Pasta Night Fun

We've been doing this for so long, I forgot that some people are just joining in the Presto Pasta Night fun. So here are some simple rules for submitting your fantastic pasta dishes:

1) The dish must have some sort of noodle, it doesn't have to be traditional Italian type pasta, it can be hot, cold, salad, soup, main, dessert, or anything else, but it must have some kind of noodle;

2) You must mention Presto Pasta Nights and link to it and since 3 of 4 weeks per month, there are guest hosts, you need to mention and link to them too. This is where you find out who's doing the hosting for the week you want to enter.

3) Email your entry to the host and a cc to me with the link to your post no later than Thursday evening so the host can have the roundup ready on Friday.

4) As for photos: - it's best to attach a jpeg of your dish in your email. Although I usually just copy the one on your post. If you wish to use a PPN logo, just copy it from the top of this post.

There are several food blogging events that require you to only submit your post to them. We think it's fun to submit to as many as you want to broaden the readership.

Now, what are you waiting for????? Get those pasta dishes ready for the weekly roundups.

Dumb question, I'm sure, and the answer is probably...nah!

I've just discovered the joy of potstickers, with the wrappers created on my pasta machine, then steamed and fried.

Does this count/work?

Not a dumb question at all. And yes potstickers count. If ravioli counts - squares of dough surrounding a filling, then so do potstickers.

Thanks for joining in the fun. Check out who's hosting this week and send in your entry.

Sounds like fun. I have a dumb question. Do we do the post and then submit it to you or wait to post until the Friday? I have been planning on posting about my favorite pasta recipe and even have pics taken.

Lenox, first - there are no dumb questions; second - thanks for thinking of joining Presto Pasta nights; third...and to answer your question...write about it during the week, mention and link to Presto Pasta Nights and whoever is hosting for the week.

Looking forward to seeing your tasty pastas soon.

Just found out about this.. and I eat pasta like clockwork every single week! Shall have to join up. =D

Just to clarify, the rules says any sort of noodles, but how bout risotto?

Ruth Daniels said...

Celeste, I can't wait for you to share some of your pasta dishes with us. And any noodle is "pasta" to me. Risotto on the other hand is actually rice, so, although, it hurts me to say no...I do love risotto, just not for PPN.

Hi Ruth - I often see that little PPN logo crop up around the blogosphere, and since I cook and post loads of pasta dishes have often meant to investigate further, but never seem to get around to it (what couldn't we all do with a "round tuit" if we only had one:-o). Anyway, I've decided it's time to wade in. I've just posted a pasta dish which I'm going to link up - I see the current week's one has closed, so I'm early for this week - but that's OK right. Anyway, hope I do everything right, but I've fallen short of the rules anywhere pleased don't hesitate to tell me :-)
