Presto Pasta Night Roundup #76

Last week Michelle at Greedy Gourmet did a wonderful job of hosting Presto Pasta Nights. A very big THANK YOU!

This week it's my turn. I do love sharing the joy with others, but it's always a treat to get to host myself...I get all the sneak peaks and preview tastes! Hey...you can have them too, if you want to host a week.

First in this week, is Dee of Choos & Chews, a first time PPNer shows up with a stunning dish of Tea Smoked Szechuan Chicken over Soba. I can't wait to try this one!

Ellen of Before there was Poop, made a very tasty Tofu Ricotta Lasagna for all the vegans out there. I bet many a carnivore would enjoy it too.

Sunita of Sunita's World knows my weakness for pesto. Here's her Pasta with Almonds and Tomato & Red Pepper Pesto. Awesome looking!

Sharon, of Culinary Adventures of A New Wife shares a perfectly healthy, oh-so-tasty Athenian Shrimp & Orzo dish.

Apu of Annaras, Essence of Food doesn't like to cook with raw eggs, so she made this gorgeous eggless Spinach & Ricotta Manicotti.

Katie of Thyme for Cooking is celebrating a birthday...I hope you had a great and glorious 12th! And thanks for sharing a beautiful Summer Couscous with those of us who couldn't be there to celebrate in person.

Corinne of Gourmet Love Affair has a superb touch with leftovers...although, if she hadn't told us we'd never guess. Check out this Spicy Beef & Broccoli Noodle Stir Fry.

Kittie, of Kittens in the Kitchen puts together a great combo of my favorite ingredients...chicken, chorizo, orzo and aubergine (that's eggplant for us Americans & Canadians).

Lesley of Beachlover's Kitchen made a mean Shanghai Fried Noodles with pork, shrimp & mustard greens...what's not to love?!

Mochachocolata-Rita shares a frustrating story about eating fast food in Hong Kong and then gives us a much better alternative - her own Creamy Mushrooms, Ham Herbs & Fusili.

Hillary of Chew on That Blog, was dubious about this recipe...from the list of ingredients, but it turned out delicious... Check out her Pasta Salad.

Daphne of More than Words shares a lip-smacking, easy-to-do Feta, Chicken & Spinach Pasta that has me drooling.

And finally, my own easy as pie, quick as a wink...or at least, no longer than it takes to boil water...Sundried Tomato & Basil Spaghettini with Tuna & Chilies to leave frazzle behind.

I can't believe I missed two entries this week!

Judith of Think On It! and she sent the perfect remedy post for a dish I've botched every time I tried to make it....Her Spinach & Ricotta Gnocchetti with it's step-by-step will have us all gnocchi masters.

and Kitchenetta,of Got No Milk, next week's wonderful PPN host, with a positively awesome Gluten-free Spaghetti with Artichokes, Raisins & Pecans. Who says having food allergies means boring, bland diets.

So for next week, don't forget to email your entries to Kitchenetta, Got No Milk directly: tfree AT hotmail DOT com.

And if one of us miss your entry, (sometimes the internet, gobbles up delicious dishes without sharing) please email me again so I can add it.

Plus...Don't forget to check all the Presto Pasta Night Roundups dating back to March, 2007, see who's hosting for the next four weeks and check out guidelines and tips for entering and hosting.

If you have any ideas for a topic for Presto Pasta Night, let me know. And, if you're a Facebook member, please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

A very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!! I can always count on you to make it special.

Don't forget to join in the fun yourself. It's simple....

1. Post a pasta recipe on your site. By pasta, I mean any noodle dish - hot, cold, spicy, creamy, saucy, stuffed, from any and every culture - Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles, Macaroni & Cheese, Pasta salads...the possibilities are endless!

2. Mention Presto Pasta Nights in the post and add a link back here.

3. Email the link to your post to this week's host with the following information:
The name you want to go by, publicly; your blog name; name of the dish.

Check here to see who's hosting in the next few weeks.

Entries will be posted every Friday, so you'll have some great new recipes for the weekend. Please make sure your entries are in by Thursday evening.

Don't worry if you don't have your own blog, you can email your recipe directly to me at ruth@4everykitchen.com and I'll post it for you.

If you're interested, please join the Presto Pasta Night Gang on My Facebook and let's see where the fun takes us all this year!

And if you'd like to be a Presto Pasta Night Host yourself, check out the details and email me directly at ruth@4everykitchen.com

Looks like a really tasty roundup! Pasta has been out of my summer rotation for a while, but now my carb cravings are coming back around...

I love Judith's dish. And how can you not want to visit a site called Before It Was Poop? Haha.

Seriously though, I loved all the dishes. Nice roundup!
